  • 1.  Online Graduate Degree in Public History/Museum Studies

    Hello all, 

    Does anyone know of any ONLINE graduate programs that offer either of the following degrees:

    • Masters of Arts in PUBLIC History w/concentration in Museum Studies
    • Masters of Arts in History w/concentration in PUBLIC History AND a certificate option in Museum Studies

    I have found one school thus far (Wayne State University) that offers such. Surely there are more out there...?

    I do not know if you have tried this yet but here is the link for public history programs through the National Council on Public History. It lists all the schools but off to the left you can narrow it down. Hope this helps.

    I have recently enrolled in a Masters program with University of Oklahoma for Museum Studies and it's 100% online. So far I'm extremely happy with how everything is being handled on the admissions end. You still have time to apply - Fall semester starts Aug 22nd.
