    Dear Friend,

Please join us on Thursday 12/7 at 12:30pm ET for a conversation with Mike Murawski. REGISTRATION IS NOT REQUIRED.

    "Museums, Politics, and Bridging Divides"

Amidst growing political and social divides, what role can – or should – museums play in grappling with complex contemporary issues? Do museums have a responsibility to engage with the most pressing social and political issues of our time? How do museums even decide which issues to get involved with? And what is the value, if any, of remaining silent?  Join museum consultant and author Mike Murawski for this conversation exploring how museums navigate sensitive political landscapes, foster productive dialogue, and work toward bridging social and political divides.

Mike Murawski is an outspoken advocate for transformations in the museum field. After more than 20 years of work in education and museums, Mike Murawski has become a consultant, educator, and author. Museums as Agents of Change: A Guide to Becoming a Changemaker appeared in 2021. He is also the Co-Director of Art Nature Place, a business focused on design, place-based learning, and environmental education.
