Christina Ferwerda, together with Sierra van Ryck DeGroot and Chang Lee, will respond to this challenging prompt.
Christina Ferwerda is the principal of Ferwerda Creative Services, where she plans and designs high-impact experiences; she also teaches exhibition and experience design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Sierra Van Ryck DeGroot is Deputy Director of Museum Hue, the leading organization dedicated to advancing Black, Indigenous, Asian, Latinx, and all People of Color in the arts and culture field and Co-President of the National EMP Network. Chang Lee is an architect and experience designer at Gallagher & Associates New York. As an exhibit designer, he designs, coordinates and integrates exhibits, graphics and media concepts into the overall physical needs of the space.
