    Dear Colleagues,

My background is in museums. However, I moved to a foundation leadership position in 2017. The Aslan Foundation supports the greater Knoxville, Tennessee area through traditional grantmaking, public-private partnerships, and our own projects, including the Loghaven Artist Residency. Our newest project, the Eugenia Williams House, is the restoration of a 1941 mansion and 24 acres of riverfront property to serve the community to open in spring 2025. The Foundation will operate the buildings and grounds. We will fully fund the project. The grounds will be open to the public for free. The main home will be available for cultural programming. We are offering the property to a group of our arts and cultural grantees as an extension of our ongoing financial support of their missions. The organizations can use the site for their programming as a satellite location. I am interested to know what other physical locations have a similar program model. Please share any models that you know of as we refine our plan. Thank you for your time and consideration! I know how busy you all are making your part of the world a better place.
