    A while back I stumbled across this resource. IMPORTANT NOTE: the amounts expressed in this document are in Canadian dollars. You can use an online currency converter for assistance. For example, right now $3,500 Canadian is a little over $2,700 US. Basically around 77¢ of the Canadian dollar. CARFAC-RAAV updates it annually and rates for 2022 and 2023 are available. The amount of detail for artist wages is amazing, I don't know about community partners. Enjoy!

    I am interested in developing a pay scale for speakers, performers, student speakers, as well as artists, who present virtually, in-person, with/out traveling, etc., and would love any examples and further suggestions.     Hi Eric,

    For what it's worth, we use W.A.G.E. when paying artists. We're also adding language to traveling exhibition contracts asking the host institutions to commit to W.A.G.E. for artists who provide exhibition related programs.

    Hi Heather, 

    Yes, I would be interested if you think the conversation can accommodate discussing wages for both artists and other museum presenters. I am particularly interested in the question of guidelines for how we pay speakers and performers, which may includes artists, art historians, specialists, community members, museum professionals, dancers, musicians, DJs and students. This might be too far afield for those who really want to discuss paying exhibiting artists.
