I'm working on a new book for Routledge -
Museums, Children and Social Action - and want to invite fellow museum professionals to share their voices in a survey that looks at how museums are serving children [12 and younger]. Who is being served and who is not being served? What are museums doing well? What types of experiences are important? Whether you are directly engaged with serving children or not, your thoughts about what museums are doing is appreciated. I'm also collecting perspectives from those outside of the museum, so feel free to share this link with friends who might be interested. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly at
sharonshaffer.consulting@gmail.com. Thanks for contributing to the book through this important conversation.

Survey on Children and Museums |
Perceptions of Children and Museums from the inside out and the outside in. This survey invites participants to share their perspectives about ways that museums are serving children, who is being served, and recommendations for the future. What can museums do to serve children more broadly and to engage them with important ideas about their world? |
