Just thought I would share a creative source of revenue from the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville, Tennessee. For two weekends in October, this venue hosts a "
Rally for the Lane" event where patrons can pay to drive a unique car from Lane's collection in a road rally through Nashville. It's an all-day event where people pay anywhere from $700 to $1,200 to participate. Museum representatives report that they get repeat participants every year--it's actually hard for somebody new to reserve a spot.
