    On November 6-8, 2017, the Indianapolis Museum of Art will be hosting the Earned Income Symposium for Cultural Institutions.  This is an exciting, first-of-its-kind conference and an conversation overdue to take place in our industry.  The conference will feature approximately 19 speakers from art museums, gardens, children's museums, other cultural institutions, and the private sector. 

     The speakers will be covering topics such as tying survey results to the bottom line, growing ancillary revenue streams, pricing and membership strategies, and building audience through improved guest experience.    

    We will also be hosting attendees from institutions from all over North America, representing more than 17 states and countries.  Registered attendees include the Baltimore Museum of Art, Dallas Art Museum, Nelson-Atkins Museum, Brooklyn Botanical Garden, The Children's Museum of Indianapolis, California Academy of Sciences, and the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo.
