    We've had a couple of very scary moments at The House of the Seven Gables this season and are starting to plan for the "when" not the "if."

    It's a tough spot to be in--when one of your organization's biggest assets is also the biggest risk.

    Keep us posted on what you learn and try. This is important work for sites all up, down, and along the coasts. We're all learning together. 

    The more you can work with your city planners and emergency management leaders, the shorter your learning curve may be. Plus, they need to know you're experiencing these problems. It helps them understand the scale of the problem and the need for help.  They may also want to work with you to pilot projects AND share information with the public.
