  • 1.  Ticketing software and credit card processing

Museum at Prairiefire is looking into getting new ticketing/membership-development/program scheduling software.  We currently use Altru by Blackbaud.  We don't find the credit card processing through Blackbaud Merchant Services to be efficient; it takes 10 days for funds from credit card transactions to post to our account.  I've looked at the forum thread on ticketing systems from 2015 but would like to know what systems people are using now,  what company processes your credit card transaction and how long it takes for you to get the funds from those transactions?  Thank you,

We also use Altru and process credit cards through Cybersource. I think its generally 1-2 days to receive funds. Hope that is helpful.

    Hello Wendy,

I work For Etix Ticketing Solutions.

We work with the National Museum of African American History and Culture, The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and The North Carolina Museum of Art to name a few.

Happy to discuss our offerings with you any time.  We offer the ability to have ticket and membership revenue go straight to your account in 2-3 days.

Etix also gives you the option to have a transactional business model that many museums pass along to patrons, thus making the solution much less expensive to the Museum than the Blackbauds of the world.

Happy to discuss any time..thanks Wendy

We use ACME Ticketing (https://www.acmeticketing.com/) for gallery admission, programs, and membership sales.  It integrates with Raiser's Edge or Salesforce for membership development.  Payments processed by ACME's merchant services deposit to our account two business days after they've been cleared.

You can read about our experience with ACME here, and I'm always happy to have a discussion about the product with current or prospective clients to ensure that we're all getting the most out of the solution and the company.
