Join Emlyn Koster, NAME Southeast rep, Rudy Rocha, and exhibit colleagues to hear about his article 'Paradigm Shift to Illuminate this Disrupted Planet', Spring 2021 issue and join in a lively discussion.
How has climate, which has changed throughout the Earth's history, become a 'crisis' since the mid-20th century and an 'existential crisis' now? How can museums illuminate this and other perilous situations to their staff, visitors and other stakeholders?

Emlyn Koster has fused his geological start in UNESCO World Heritage Sites with three decades as a nature and science museum leader and starting a decade ago also with a humanistic outlook advocating for the Anthropocene.

The spring issue of Exhibition presents his latest article, 'Paradigm Shift to Illuminate this Disrupted Planet'. He also blogs on this and related topics, e.g. https://rka-learnwithus.com/museums-and-climate-change-a.../ and https://rka-learnwithus.com/earth-day-at-51-why-museums.../.
