  • 1.  Wholesale purchasing for a small Museum

    Hello!

We are looking for ways to be more cost effective in how we stock our museum gift store.

We are a museum of electrical invention so we are looking for science toys/kits, books, and other items and we are committed to selling high quality items.

Our limited storage capacity makes many wholesale quantity limits a challenge, but purchasing non-wholesale requires us to price our items higher than we would like.

Does anyone have any suggestions for wholesalers with lower quantity minimums, or other suggestions to be more cost effective in how we stock our gift store?

    Thank you!

    Hi Abigail!

In regards to buying bulk items/science kits you might want to check out American Science & Surplus and Maker Shed. If you need additional resources, I would suggest perhaps contacting your local schools and inquiring about their bulk suppliers for science kits etc. Hope you find what you are looking for :)
