Hi - We've been building a site using Omeka. Since we are an all-volunteer museum at this point, we needed something that had good templates (easy to build), good support (both supplier- and community-based), and low cost. At the same time, the user experience had to have a high-quality presentation, strong search, and easy navigation (intuitive). Lots of examples of Omeka presentations are available through their website links.
We decided to contract with Omeka.com to host it, which means we use the Omeka Classic platform without attempting to do custom programming.
Keep it simple. Creating content is enough of a challenge.

Subject: Online Exhibition Platforms
All,
I am exploring online exhibition platforms to display work we do not have space to in the physical museum. Does anyone have recommendations. I have been experimenting with Artsteps.
https://www.artsteps.com/ Has anyone used this platform before? Looking for some resources.
Thanks in advance
Mark
