The arts and humanities are critical for human flourishing. Art plays a central role in the education of children, the leisure time of adults, and the cohesion of communities, nations, and societies at large. Yet we have little scientific knowledge about the relationship between cultural engagement and individual and collective human flourishing.

The Humanities and Human Flourishing Project (HHF) at the University of Pennsylvania seeks to explore the various ways the arts and humanities relate to well-being. HHF is conducting a research study to better understand the aims of art museums from individuals working as art museum professionals. In this study, you will be asked to answer questions about your experiences working in art museums and your perceptions of art museums. All responses will be collected anonymously and will be reported in the aggregate.

To be eligible for the study, you must be over the age of 18 and currently work in an art museum. This study will last approximately 25 minutes, and you will receive $20 for your participation.
