The Africa exhibition opened in 1993 as part of the Field Museum's centennial celebration. Get a rare look at the making of the exhibit with current and former Field Museum staff in an upcoming FREE one hour webinar on February 19 to hear them reflect on their work, concept and design challenges and innovations that established new models for exhibition development in museums. Moderated by Dr. Alaka Wali curator of North American Anthropology at the Field Museum. Museum Leaders Dr. Deborah L. Paired with the live conversation is a vintage WTTW documentary titled Africa: A View from the Field.
