    When considering best museum practices, what is the proper protocol for establishing long-term professional partnerships regarding museum collections and large-scale collection loans? Besides having a loan policy and loan agreement in place, what else should be prioritized? Is it possible to permanently acquire another institution's collection and if so, what is the proper procedure for executing the transfer?
