Hello from the New York Hall of Science! It was great to meet all of you who came by to check out our poster presentation. For those of you that didn't, here's a
link to NYSCI's interactive digital comic called Transmissions: Gone Viral and the educator guide. Transmissions: Gone Viral is an interactive comic book about disease transmission for youth ages 10-14. In the comic, a trio of children set out to solve the mystery of dying crows in their neighborhood. Aided by scientific specialists, they gather evidence and explore evolutionary biology and disease transmission. Interactives embedded in the narrative engage readers in sorting evidence and finding patterns that may help solve the mystery, and can be leveraged as hands-on activities using the educator guide.
