Colleagues,
I'd like to begin inviting art critical exhibition reviews, as a way to improve the quality of our reviews and to expand spheres of awareness about our programming. Does anyone have practical wisdom, best practices, and/or cautions about this?
An art critic once offered to publish a review in Hyperallergic.com if we paid a fee. It seemed like a conflict of interest so I declined - although I would have appreciated having that particular exhibition reviewed in that online publication.
