Our science museum is thinking of using those colored plastic/metal clip-on-your-clothes doodads that I think are called "litho-tabs" for keeping track of who's paid during special events.
I wanted to check to see if folks had any advice about what kind seem to be most effective, both in terms of cost and logistics. And if you had a box for folks to return them to, what was the return rate?
Also, in the spirit of re-use and conservation: Has anyone used another museum's clips? I'm not opposed to the idea of taking some off another museum's hands if they've changed logos or gone to another method...
