Has any institution successfully found and used tactile tape for cane detection to protect visually impaired patrons from wall-mounted artifacts or art?

In my experience (based on prototyping and testing) small form strips or dots are far more effective that tape for cane detectability. There are a few companies/suppliers that offer products like these: https://www.tactileflooring.se/en/products/ Try to ensure high contrast colour as well as tactile distinctions against the floor.
