    1. Exhibition Journal Newsline-
Celebrate going to museums again by writing about a GREAT experience or exhibit (one you didn't work on yourself). How is the field moving forward?
Exhibits Newsline is a section in the Exhibition Journal published by the National Association for Museum Exhibition, a professional network of the American Alliance of Museums!
Entries should be brief (500 words max), breezy (tell what made it great), and include three to four hi-res images.
For more information and to let us know you're interested, email: NAMENewsline@gmail.com. LET US KNOW right away if you'd like to have your name in print this spring! Submissions DUE Tuesday, JULY 6.
Pass it on to other colleagues you think would be interested.  Check out the Spring 2021 issue here and subscribe https://www.name-aam.org/exhibition_spring-2021. The guidelines can be found here: Exhibits Newsline Guidelines 2020.pdf

    2. Wednesday NAME Chat, 10 am EST -- What great exhibits have you seen lately?
We had a great discussion with Paul Orselli last week and shared free and brilliant resources for making great exhibits with not so great budgets.
This week we're sharing photos and thoughts about great exhibits we've seen--inspired by the Newsline deadline!

    3. Thursday Chat, 1 pm EST (10 am PST)
Not sure of the topic but it's always good company and conversation.

    4. Feedback Friday, 5pm EST July 2
    From Sam and Kate:
This week, we welcome Cait McQuade, Independent Exhibit Developer & CU Boulder Museum Studies Instructor, who is interested in beginning a discussion about virtual exhibitions -What is the difference between online exhibits and websites? What makes a good online exhibit? What are the needs of making an online exhibition? Join us for our upcoming session this Friday, July 2nd, at 5pm EST to share your ideas and thoughts! We encourage you to bring with you a virtual exhibit you think is either outstanding or terrible to share with everyone.
