  • 1.  survey for measuring impact of DEAI efforts

    Posted 02-15-2021 01:10 PM
We are planning to conduct a survey to measure the impact of our DEAI efforts. We are seeking examples of similar surveys. Specifically, we are looking for ways to inquire about demographics, youth learning indicators, and other data on family and multilingual visitors.

    Hello Mary-Kay,

A few questions for you as you are planning:

    1. Do you have identified goals, objectives, outcomes, and/or indicators/KPIs for your DEAI work? Knowing this information can help identify priority measures.

    2. You mentioned family visitors as an audience, but are there others? Other guests, program participants, larger community, staff, all of the above? Are there specific goals for each audience?

    3. How did you land on a survey being the most appropriate instrument? Might there be other instruments your are already using that may provide data, or be used to provide data (such as your ticketing system)? Do you already use any other regular tracking methods?

With this additional info, I/others can provide potentially useful measures for you all.

    Warm regards,
