Dear Colleagues,
I'm looking for examples of museums that have endowment investment policies shaped by their museum's mission and values. This might take the form of:
- Prohibiting investment in specific sectors that do not align with the museum's mission (e.g, tobacco, liquor)
- General Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Criteria
- Impact Investing--actively investing in companies that provide both a financial return and a demonstrable benefit to society
Any information you can provide from you own institutions, or leads on who I might talk to would be most appreciated. Thank you!
Yours from the future,
Elizabeth
