     Nomination Portal Now Open through December 15, 2021
    The Association of Art Museum Curators (AAMC) is accepting nominations for the Awards for Excellence, an esteemed program celebrating curatorial work. Highly respected, these are the only peer to peer honors that recognize achievements of nonprofit curators on an international level. Nominations are welcome across all fields of study, with jurors seeking to award original and new curatorial content that addresses vital topics of social justice, activism, diversity, access, equity, and inclusion, as well as that creates connections and fosters engagement between nonprofit art organizations and the communities they serve. 

    Nominations are accepted through December 15, 2021 and will be announced at the 2022 Art Curators Conference. Categories for this year's awards are: 
    • Digital Publication (published in 2021)
    • Digital Exhibition (launched in 2021)
    • Online Program (held in 2021)
    • Non-Catalog Publication (published in 2021)
      • Print or Online: Essays, Articles, Brochures, Blogs, Magazines, Journals, News Stories
    • Exhibition or Installation (on view in 2020 and/or 2021)
      • Awarded by art organization operating budget category
    • Publication published (in 2020 and/or 2021)
      • Awarded by art organization operating budget category
