  • 1.  Annual Appeal Advice

    Hello there, Membership & Fundraising Friends!

    Like many orgs, the Parrish launches an annual appeal in the fall.  It appears, we have been segmenting our mailing by program interest, not by giving history.  And we have not segmented the single e-mail follow-up, just sent a generic message to all on our main e-mail list.  I see some room for improvement, but am cautious not to shake things up too much on my first round at the Parrish.  I want to learn from you. 

    • How does your org segment its annual appeal?  What is the thinking behind this and how has it impacted your success?
    • How do you integrate other platforms (e-mail, social media, posters, etc.)?
    • Have you had much success integrating Giving Tuesday and if so, what tactics proved helpful?
    • Any general advice?
