Our museum recently renovated unused office space into a studio that will be used for our annual artist-in-residence program and for other educational art activities. We are hoping to eventually purchase furniture (tables and stools/chairs) for the space. Because the space is new to us we're still working out what kinds of activities we'll host there, so right now I'm looking for furniture options that will withstand a wide range of art-making activities.
I've come across a few options, but do you all have suggestions for vendors or recommendations for furniture that's worked well for you? Ideally, we'd like the tables to be somewhat easy to move and store as we've already found that we need this space to be versatile.
