The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum and New York University's Ability Project have been awarded the IMLS National Leadership Grant. Sensory Tools for Interpreting Historic Sites, a free digital publication, will offer strategies for increasing visitor engagement through interpretation that is accessible for visitors with disabilities and achievable by historic sites of all sizes.
The project team invites applications from self-advocates, representatives of disability communities and the historic sites and museums community to contribute to the development of this publication as members of the project's Core Working Group. Please follow the link below for more information about the project and how to apply.
