Are there any city owned/operated museums out there? I am hoping to gather some feedback on what POS and CRM software you are using IF you are not being mandated to use your city's internal POS/CRM system.
I am familiar with the various programs out there being utilized by private and independent museums, but specifically, my question is to city owned/operated museums, have you been permitted to run a system of your choice? If so, which one, and how do you handle your reporting back to city departments relevant to your operations (mainly revenue through a finance department)?
Does your selected POS/CRM communicate directly with your city's finance department or are you required to take additional steps to provide financial reporting to them?
