    The Science Festival Alliance is currently recruiting 12 new festival initiatives to take part in its Accelerator program.

    The application deadline is December 2. More information, including applications, can be found online at: https://sciencefestivals.org/blog/applications-open-for-startup-festival-support-including-10k/

    Winning applicants will receive $10,000 in matching funds, supportive mentoring, and additional professional development funds.

    While most science festivals are currently led by Institutions with a mission related to science education, other types of institutions are encouraged to apply, including institutions that are strongly aligned with diversity, equity, access, and inclusion issues in their communities.
