If you are from a "big" state museum, I would like to hear from you as to whether or not you charge fees for other smaller museums around your state to rent your traveling exhibits (for example).
Also interested to understand:
1. Do you charge fees if a smaller organization within your state seeks advice on exhibition development from one of your staff?
2. Or, for example, if advice is sought on a conservation project - do you have a consultation fee?
3. What about workshops? If one of your staff is asked to conduct a workshop (on collections management best practices, for example) at a museum in a remote location, do you charge a fee?
I'd like to know what others out there are doing - what fee structure (if any) works and what doesn't.
