I would recommend converting the video to MP4 and buy a Android PC for $65. What I like about this one (See below) is that it has an audio output jack.
Install the following apps. "Video Looper" and "AutomateIt" from the Android app store. Video Looper will loop a video full-screen (you just copy the file to a folder) and AutomateIt will auto start the Video Looper App. both are free.
Is the Blu-Ray a disk made by an manufacture or was it made by someone? If it was made by someone you can copy the files from the disk then use "Handbreak" to make an MP4 file (Handbreak is free). There are ways to get the video if it is a manufactured Disk.
If you don't have a BluRay disk player on your computer you can buy one cheap or see if someone can get the files for you.
Using the Android PC you will not have to worry if the player will die over time they just work, just make sure you are not covering the air vents and also its an 1/8 of the size of a DVD player so you can hide it easier.
When mounting it don't use Velcro the case does get warm and the glue that holds the Velcro on to the case will let go over time.

Can anyone recommend a high-quality blu-ray dvd player that can withstand playing dvds many hours per day? It doesn't need a lot of bells and whistles; it would basically just be playing blu-ray dvds continuously throughout the day. Thanks!
