Dear Geoffrey,
I can put you in touch with a professional Arabic-English-Arabic museum translator who works with museums in Qatar and the Gulf, and whom we use for all our exhibition content translation. Sometimes we ask her to do a 'give us an idea of what this is' type of translation, through to full document translations with mirror page layout, inserted images, etc. Let me know if you'd like an introduction at pamela.erskine-loftus@northwestern.edu
Regards,
Pamela

Subject: Need Arabic translation assistance
Hello everyone:
I'm in the process of cataloging a recently acquired collection of items from a veteran of the most recent Iraq War and came across a couple books written in what I'm assuming is Arabic. It could be something else, but I don't know. One looks like some kind of propaganda booklet and one honestly looks like a romance novel involving missiles and a woman, judging by the cover art. Very exciting, I'm sure.
Can anyone translate what's written there? Or can anyone point me in the direction of someone who could?
Thanks,
