I'd like to propose a session for AAM 2017 with small museum leaders in mind. I am the ED of a historical society and house museum with just 2.5 staff. This is my first ED position and the learning curve has been steep when it comes to understanding the relationship between a board of directors and the staff. The session would explore how to create healthy, productive, and dare I say empowering relationships that are satisfying for all involved.
