Hi Everyone:
I am interested in putting together a session proposal about interpreting sacred art for a general/secular audience. I'm referring to objects that actually have a sacred function within a religious tradition, rather than artworks about a religious tradition.
While it's fairly rare for a museum to focus exclusively on sacred objects (like mine does), many museums have these types of objects so it seems that it could have broad appeal as a topic.
