Does anyone have recommendations for a vitrine vendor in the Midwest?

We use Pedestal Source (A Xylem Design Store), and have had good luck with the 1/4" thick vitrines. (We first ordered the 1/8" thick vitrines, but we had some issues with them separating at the seams.)

Museum Acrylics in New Philadelphia, Ohio is very good. Their website is MuseumAcrylics.com, and George Laurence there can be reached at museumacrylic@aol.com or 330-364-5757.

I second the suggestion of Museum Acrylics in Ohio - we work with George Laurence often and he does high quality work.  He's also a great resource if you're not exactly sure what you need...he is great about offering suggestions and working with you to design custom pieces.

    Craig,

Have you tried M&G Plastic Specialties in Butler, Wisconsin. Someone at the Milwaukee Public Museum turned me on to them years ago when they were on West Alder Lane, but they have moved to Butler. Here is a link with contact info -M & G Plastic Specialties in Butler , WI

    .

    I hope this helps.
