Hi,
I work at a Children's Museum and we are looking for durable waterproof smocks to be used at our water table. Our exhibit is also heavily influenced by The Reggio Emilia approach so we are looking for smocks that come in more natural subdued colors as opposed to the standard red, yellow, and blue. I have done some internet searching but still haven't found any smocks that I am crazy about. Does anyone have a good suggestion of an off the shelf smock or a specific fabric that could be used to create custom smocks that are both waterproof and able to withstand heavy use and multiple washer/dryer cycles?
