  • 1.  Reliable Translator?

    Posted 12-09-2015 12:16 PM

    Hello everyone,

I was wondering, does anyone have a recommended/reliable translator they use?

I have made a document I would like translated in a few different languages, such as Mandarin, French, Spanish, and German.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi Maggie,

From your post I’m not sure if you mean a translator software program or a translating service. A translating service will undoubtedly cost more, but it’s well worth it to avoid the inaccurate word choice and awkward grammar that are rampant with translating software. (I do translation work, and from time to time I run a paragraph through various on-line translation programs, just to see if they’ve got anything on human translators yet, and they always leave me either shaking my head in disbelief and/or laughing.) The American Translators Association can help you locate someone that should fit your needs: https://www.atanet.org/onlinedirectories/
