Hello all,

We are a museum-in-planning, as such, we don't have a retail manager yet, as we don't have a gift shop. That being said, we would like to start having select merchandise created and available on our website- we get asked about t-shirts, hats, etc. quite often. Can you recommend some vendors to me? Specifically vendors that are good for t-shirts (screen printed), baseball hats (printed or embroidered), and good quality water bottles that can be screen printed.

We have found it best for branded merchandise to use a local printing company. They do or shirts and water bottles for our gift shop and for internal/staff use. It's cheaper that way than paying shipping fees to a vendor, and since it's a small company we get really good service and are able to receive or view samples of anything we plan to order.

One of the most unique gift stores I have ever visited is at the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office. Called Skeletons in the Closet, the shop has the type of merchandise you specify plus a lot more creative items, as you might imagine!
