    Posted 03-21-2015 02:03 PM

    All,

For those of you with rotating outdoor sculpture installations, my Museum would be a very grateful beneficiary if it were possible to share any documents of your Call for Entries and / or Selection Processes (scoring criteria) - - in any degree.

[Or any leads to resource links for same]

    Thanks!

    Hi Robert,

I have a few document samples from our past outdoor sculpture program. We no longer have the budget for the program, so they haven't been updated in several years. I'm pretty sure our previous manager based them on materials from a program in South Dakota. Why reinvent the wheel right? Hope they help, I'll email them to you.

Robert, Contact Adam Justice at the Polk Museum of Art in Lakeland, FL. We established the Florida Outdoor Sculpture Competition there. It started in one city then expanded to two and is now in 3 cities - Lakeland, Winter Haven and now Sebring also. The Polk Museum manages the process with community support and participation. It has been copied by several places, including now Ocala in its second year. We can talk more in Birmingham. Professional Artist magazine publishes call for artists online at http://orders.professionalartistmag.com/adlisting/

Some will be for rotating sculpture installations, usually city or county.
