Good afternoon. A client of mine is building a special case to house a high value painting & is looking for recommendations for the glazing. The case is in an office that is occupied 24 hours a day. The painting is alarmed & the room is locked if not occupied. Does anyone out there have any recommendations/favorite high security glass with good optical clarity that you have used?

    Many thanks.

    Hi Sue,

Our company builds custom museum cases. In the situation you describe we recommend using low iron, UV filtering, laminated glass. Starfire is a good brand. In order to be completely secure, the glass should be bonded on all sides to a metal frame that is part of the case.
