    Hello!
Does your Membership office use Sales Force, CVent or AudienceView? If so, could you briefly share your museum's experience with the system (specifically with membership components such as tracking, reporting, correspondence, acknowledgements, etc.)?
    Many thanks in advance!

    Hello--
At Leach Botanical Garden we have been using the non-profit service pack version of Salesforce for about three years.   We are mostly self-taught and so realize that we have only used about 1% of the tools SalesForce provides.   As a small organization this has worked well for us.  In addition to the development activity,  we have our vendors,  rental clients (we generate revenue with rentals), and public relations contacts all go in the system. Salesforce has pretty good video tutorials and printed items as well as support.   A SF employee who lives nearby volunteered to help us establish the system and migrate our data.  He also sought and got a $ 1000 cash grant from SF to support our continued use.

    We love it.

    Hi Myra,

The Contemporary Austin recently (October 2018) went through a database conversion that includes Salesforce. Our membership base is ~3,000 constituents, and we use a platform that integrates with Salesforce to collect payment for membership, admissions, and events. The development team is very pleased with Salesforce in terms of tracking solicitations, acknowledgments, and in general all aspects of their fundraising pipeline. The users really appreciate the dashboard visualizations and assigning tasks, especially. It was a significant learning curve but I think we've settled in nicely.

    Best,
    Robin
