  • 1.  Definition of Ground Roll?

    Posted 02-13-2020 04:40 PM

    Hello All!

In my circle of Museum Professionals we have commonly used the term for faux/artificial ground work (i.e. artificial forest floor), "Ground Roll"

Is this term used elsewhere in the Museum Industry? Say for artificial forest floor in a diorama?

I Have run into a few Exhibit Contractors that hadn't heard of this terminology. . .

    Thanks for any feedback!

    Sincere appreciation, Rick Kitamata EBRPD

That's a new one to me, and I've been in the natural and cultural history and diorama exhibit world for over 20 years.
