I work with the National Infantry Museum in Columbus GA. While technically a Development person my sole fundraising focus is commemorative granite pavers, larger pavers, memorial trees and benches.
We hold 2 dedication ceremonies per year - one on Memorial Day and on on Veterans Day. We are dedicating nearly 125 pavers and will likely have far fewer than the 500 guests or so we generally get. We generally have high ranking military members from Ft. Benning, local elected officials, and a key note speaker. But even that's likely not to happen. We do a life FB feed every year but is then posted to our You Tube Channel.
It's very "by-the-book". Emcee, Guest Speaker, Invocation/Benediction -- all over in about 20 minutes.
Looking for a way to make it interesting so it's no so static - maybe with a portion of it pre-recorded. Our website is National Infantry Museum
