Dear Colleagues,
As many of you are aware the AAM 2018 conference session proposal submission site is open: August 1 – September 1. I am interested in finding co-presenters for submitting a proposal. Below are 4 ideas I have and would be willing to take any of them further with some co-presenters. If you have an interest in any of the topics please contact me.
3D documentation & interpretation: using 3D documentation to not only further conservation and preservation, but create new forms of interpretation and accessibility.
Technology and accessibility: experimenting with technology to help offer greater access (physical and intellectual) opportunities to all of its visitors.
Education & Visitor Services: Cross training front line staff to be interpreters/guides and visitor services associates.
Advisory Committees: working with local professionals and thought leaders to develop wider professional networks, surface new perspectives and ideas and provide opportunities to guide and shape the implementation of museum's strategic goals.
