We are in the market for some lightweight gallery seating that our visitors can borrow to take into our galleries with them to sit and listen to a tour guide or just to stop and sit. I've seen these at other museums before, but can't seem to find much online. We don't want the bulky wooden museum stools, but something smaller than can be tucked away when not in use.

We actually just did some research on this ourselves and we decided on this lightweight folding stool with handle. The handle allows it to be hung for easy storage and it hold up to 250 lbs. We also liked that it could be shipped to our local Home Depot for free and the cost is super  reasonable.

We just use our banquet chairs for that purpose. They're pretty lightweight, and they stack most excellently:
