If the panels are printed on extruded PVC (Sintra board), I cut a french cleat from an old piece of Sintra (recycling old or erroneous panels) on a table saw with the blade tilted on a 45. The top half of the cleat gets mounted to the back of the panel with PVC cement (in the plumbing section). The bottom half of the cleat gets screwed to the wall.

If you need to, you can mount another scrap piece of Sintra near the bottom to create a standoff so the wall gap is even all the way around.

    Hope this helps!

    Team,

For damage free hanging I use Command Strips.  Before you say it, yes there is adhesive but in my experience it has come off the wall clean.  I use this style, there are three sizes based on your application.  The plus is that they are velcro-esque so you can re-hang your panels until they are level.

Zachary, we have had limited success with Command strips. I have applied them to painted drywall and....they still alter the paint and not all command strips are equal. They come in industrial strength and minimal tackiness.

For temporary panels we have printed panels on our 36" printer on PhotoTex, a vinyl printable fabric with a post-it note type cling material on the back. It goes on clean and removes without as much as a smear.

    Hello -

We have a small temporary gallery that was once the kitchen of the main house.  All of the walls are concrete so we don't drill into them and we hang most items from a picture molding that runs along the top.  I have found that command strip type hooks can be useful depending on what the weight is (I have never hung anything that weighs over 20 lbs) and which wall.  Half of the walls in the room are exterior walls and depending on the time of year and the humidity when the adhesive hook is put up they don't always stay  as well as we would like.  Otherwise I think they are great for quick exhibitions that are only up for 3-4 months as they are easier to install and level with only one person.
