I am working with a local History Museum / Archives which has had some success importing Excel fields into PastPerfect's objects catalog and would like to try to do the same with the archives catalog. I expected them to do lots of copy-paste from the recently created finding aids and, for the more complex collections, attach the finding aid to the PP record. We have contacted PP Support but the rep could not provide names of any PP users attempting Excel imports into the archives catalog. Does anyone have any advice (tips or warnings) about attempting such imports from Excel?
